RUSHMORE

On our way to Montana we just HAD to stop and see
Mount Rushmore. It added another hour
or so to our 17 hr. drive but it was worth it. However, I think
that it's one of those places where you go visit
once in your entire life.

We decided to take pictures in front of all the states
where we have lived. Tyler thought it was dumb but I had fun
with it. Tyler now has lived in Utah, Iowa and Montana.
I've lived in New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, Hawaii, Iowa
and now Montana.

Being able to see a piece of our countries history was amazing.
I'm so grateful for those who came before us that
sacrificed so much so we can enjoy these beautiful things in life.

Goodbye Iowa

"Chelsea, I guess we won't be talking in church this month."
"What? How come?"
"Well... We are moving to Montana next week."
"WHAT?!"

This was Tyler and I's conversation on a friday after he got off
work. We had been in Iowa for almost a month and
this was the last thing that I was expecting. Tyler got a promotion
at work and that was very exciting. I think the thing that
shocked me most was that he had to be to work, at the next site,
on Thursday the very next week. We had the house packed up,
the Uhaul filled, our black focus sold and all the cleaning
done by that Monday.

We will definitely miss Iowa. It was BEAUTIFUL filled with tons
of amazing people with big hearts.

This was where we lived. It was an apartment right above the owners
big garage/barn. I'm sure you noticed the HUGE cage
right in front of our place. The owner's mother used to have a
cougar as a pet. Yes, I said cougar. Can you imagine? I guess she let
it walk around in the house. SO WEIRD but sort of awesome.

This is what our surroundings looked like:

Do you now understand why we will miss this place?
Isn't it majestic?! I miss waking up in the morning to this.
We were so lucky to find this place.

Through all this moving and anxiety, it's cool to be able to see
God's hand in everything. We have found great places
to live, been blessed with people that care for us, great wards
and have learned so much about each other. With all the craziness
with moving so quickly, every little thing fell into
place. I'm so grateful for a loving Heavenly Father that has
always looked out for us and guided us in the direction that we needed
to go.
